बाज़ार कमज़ोर खुला: सेंसेक्स 573 अंक फिसला, निफ्टी भी लाल निशान में
कच्चे तेल की बढ़ती कीमतों से महंगाई की चिंता बढ़ने की वजह से भारतीय शेयर बाज़ार गुरुवार 22 अक्टूबर को गिरावट के साथ खुला। शुरुआती कारोबार में सेंसेक्स करीब 573 अंक यानी 0.78 प्रतिशत गिरकर 73,137 के आसपास आ गया, जबकि निफ्टी 50 करीब 199 अंक यानी 0.87 प्रतिशत फिसलकर 22,610 के आसपास रहा।
बिकवाली चौतरफा रही और सुबह मिडकैप व स्मॉलकैप सूचकांक भी करीब 1 प्रतिशत नीचे रहे। पिछले सत्र में भी बैंकिंग और वित्तीय शेयरों की बिकवाली के चलते सेंसेक्स 143 अंक गिरकर 73,709 पर बंद हुआ था, हालांकि IT शेयरों में बढ़त रही थी। आज निवेशकों की नज़र कई कंपनियों के तिमाही नतीजों पर रहेगी।
Markets Open Weak: Sensex Slides 573 Points as Oil Prices Rise
Indian share markets opened lower on Thursday, October 22, as rising crude oil prices raised fresh worries about inflation. In early trade the Sensex fell about 573 points, or 0.78 per cent, to around 73,137, while the Nifty 50 dropped about 199 points, or 0.87 per cent, to around 22,610.
Selling was broad-based, with the mid-cap and small-cap indices also down around 1 per cent in the morning. In the previous session too, the Sensex had closed 143 points lower at 73,709 as banking and financial shares were sold off, even as IT stocks gained. Investors are also tracking quarterly results from a long list of companies due today.
