Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman V Narayanan has said that the country plans to have four functional launch pads by 2029. In addition, a 2,000-acre Small Satellite Launch Vehicle complex is being built at Kulasekarapattinam in Tamil Nadu.
The expansion aims to cater to the growing demand for satellite deployment. India has been advancing rapidly in the space sector in recent years, and the new launch pads will further increase the capacity to launch small satellites.
