चक्रवात अर्नब आज तट से टकराएगा: आंध्र प्रदेश-यनम तट पर तेज हवाएँ, 7 जिलों में रेड अलर्ट
अति गंभीर चक्रवाती तूफान अर्नब आज सुबह के समय आंध्र प्रदेश और यनम तट को पार करने वाला है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार तूफान बापटला और विशाखापत्तनम के बीच तट से टकराएगा, इस दौरान हवाओं की रफ्तार 115 से 125 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा रह सकती है और झोंके 140 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा तक पहुँच सकते हैं।
आंध्र प्रदेश के सात जिलों में रेड अलर्ट जारी किया गया है और ओडिशा के दक्षिणी हिस्से के छह जिलों में स्कूल बंद कर दिए गए हैं। तटीय इलाकों में 15 एनडीआरएफ टीमें तैनात की गई हैं, 30 हजार से ज्यादा मछली पकड़ने वाली नावें बंदरगाह लौट आई हैं और राज्य सरकार ने राहत कार्यों के लिए 27 करोड़ रुपये जारी किए हैं।
Cyclone Arnab to cross coast today: Red alert in seven Andhra Pradesh districts
Very severe cyclonic storm Arnab is set to cross the Andhra Pradesh and Yanam coasts in the forenoon today. According to the weather department, the storm will make landfall between Bapatla and Visakhapatnam, with winds of 115 to 125 kmph gusting up to 140 kmph.
Red alerts have been issued in seven districts of Andhra Pradesh, and schools in six southern districts of Odisha have been closed as a precaution. Fifteen NDRF teams have been deployed in the coastal districts, more than 30,000 fishing boats have returned to harbour, and the state government has released 27 crore rupees for relief work.
