चक्रवात अर्नब आंध्र तट से टकराया, ओडिशा में 30 हज़ार से ज़्यादा लोग सुरक्षित जगहों पर

चक्रवात अर्नब ने आंध्र प्रदेश के तट से टकराकर पूर्वी भारत में भारी बारिश और तेज़ हवाओं का दौर शुरू कर दिया है। तटीय इलाकों में समुद्र में ऊँची लहरें उठ रही हैं और कई ज़िलों में भारी बारिश दर्ज की गई है।
ओडिशा में प्रशासन ने संवेदनशील इलाकों से 30 हज़ार से ज़्यादा लोगों को सुरक्षित स्थानों पर पहुँचाया है। आंध्र प्रदेश में चक्रवात से जुड़ी घटनाओं में पाँच लोगों की मौत की खबर है, जबकि झारखंड और ओडिशा के कुछ हिस्सों में स्कूल बंद कर दिए गए हैं।
Cyclone Arnab hits Andhra coast; over 30,000 evacuated in Odisha
Cyclone Arnab made landfall along the Andhra Pradesh coast, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds to eastern India. High waves were seen along the coast as the storm moved inland.
Authorities in Odisha evacuated more than 30,000 people from vulnerable areas. Five deaths linked to the cyclone were reported in Andhra Pradesh, and schools were closed in parts of Jharkhand and Odisha as a precaution.
