चक्रवात अर्नब ओडिशा के ऊपर कमज़ोर पड़ गया है, लेकिन इसका असर अब भी कई इलाकों में दिख रहा है। गंजम ज़िले में करीब 300 गाँव पानी से घिरे हुए हैं और रायगड़ा ज़िला हाई अलर्ट पर है।
मौसम विभाग के अनुसार बंगाल की खाड़ी में एक नया सिस्टम बन रहा है, जिसके आंध्र तट की ओर बढ़ने की आशंका है। प्रशासन राहत और बचाव के काम में जुटा है और प्रभावित इलाकों पर नज़र रखी जा रही है।
