INDIA Bloc Holds Big Rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan Today
The opposition INDIA bloc is holding a major rally at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan today under its 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' campaign. The day begins with a 'Chalo Dilli' march at noon from the Minto Road-Connaught Place junction, while the main gathering inside the ground is permitted from 10 am to 5 pm.
The bloc says the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists has deleted lakhs of genuine voters, and it is demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The BJP, meanwhile, has lined up counter-programmes, including a march in West Delhi's Hari Nagar area.
