भारत के खिलाफ पांच मैचों की वनडे सीरीज़ से पहले न्यूज़ीलैंड को दोहरा झटका लगा है। मार्क चैपमैन बाईं हैमस्ट्रिंग की चोट के कारण पूरी सीरीज़ से बाहर हो गए हैं, जबकि रचिन रवींद्र कंधे की चोट से उबर नहीं पाए हैं। सीरीज़ 4 नवंबर से ऑकलैंड में शुरू हो रही है।
चैपमैन को कम से कम दो हफ्ते के आराम की सलाह दी गई है, जबकि रवींद्र पहले टी20 सीरीज़ भी नहीं खेल पाए थे। उनकी जगह टिम सेफर्ट, हेनरी निकोल्स, डीन फॉक्सक्रॉफ्ट और मैट फिशर को टीम में शामिल किया गया है। भारत ने इससे पहले टी20 सीरीज़ 3-2 से जीती थी।
Chapman and Ravindra Ruled Out of ODI Series Against India, Double Blow for New Zealand
New Zealand have suffered a double injury setback ahead of their five-match ODI series against India, which begins in Auckland on November 4. Mark Chapman has been ruled out of the entire series with a left hamstring injury, while Rachin Ravindra has not recovered from a shoulder injury.
Chapman has been advised at least two weeks of rehabilitation, while Ravindra had already missed the T20I leg of the tour. Tim Seifert, Henry Nicholls, Dean Foxcroft and Matt Fisher have been called in as cover. India had won the preceding T20I series 3-2.
