सोमालिया के पास समुद्री डाकुओं से भारतीय नौसेना ने 20 नाविकों को छुड़ाया
भारतीय नौसेना ने अरब सागर में 48 घंटे के अभियान के बाद अपहृत ईरानी मछली पकड़ने वाले जहाज़ अज़ीनी के सभी 20 चालक दल के सदस्यों को सुरक्षित छुड़ा लिया। यह अभियान मुंबई से 3,000 किलोमीटर से अधिक दूर चलाया गया, जिसमें नौसेना का युद्धपोत, निगरानी विमान और मरीन कमांडो शामिल थे।
नौसेना के अनुसार कमांडो को भारतीय वायुसेना के सी-17 विमान से पैराशूट के ज़रिए उतारा गया, जिसके बाद जहाज़ को सुरक्षित किया गया। अभियान में कोई हताहत नहीं हुआ। ईरान के दूतावास ने भारत सरकार, नौसेना और वायुसेना का आभार जताया है।
Indian Navy Rescues 20 Crew From Pirates Off Somalia In 48-Hour Operation
The Indian Navy rescued all 20 crew members of the hijacked Iranian fishing vessel Azini in the Arabian Sea after a 48-hour operation. The mission, carried out more than 3,000 km from Mumbai, involved a Navy warship, a surveillance aircraft and marine commandos.
According to the Navy, the commandos were airdropped by an Indian Air Force C-17 aircraft before the vessel was secured. No casualties were reported in the operation. The Embassy of Iran thanked the Government of India, the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force for the successful rescue.
