चुनाव आयोग ने 4 राज्यों और 2 केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में मतदाता सूची का विशेष संशोधन शुरू किया
भारत के चुनाव आयोग ने चार राज्यों और दो केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में मतदाता सूची के विशेष संक्षिप्त संशोधन की घोषणा की है। यह संशोधन अरुणाचल प्रदेश, मिज़ोरम, ओडिशा और सिक्किम के साथ-साथ चंडीगढ़ और दादरा व नगर हवेली तथा दमन व दीव में होगा।
संशोधन का काम इसी महीने शुरू होगा और अंतिम मतदाता सूची 21 जनवरी 2027 को प्रकाशित की जाएगी। इस दौरान नए मतदाताओं के नाम जोड़े जाएँगे और सूची में ज़रूरी सुधार किए जाएँगे, ताकि आगामी चुनावों में हर पात्र नागरिक अपना वोट डाल सके।
Election Commission Announces Special Revision Of Electoral Rolls In 4 States And 2 UTs
The Election Commission of India has announced a Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls in four states and two Union Territories. The revision will cover Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Odisha and Sikkim, along with Chandigarh and Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
The revision work will begin this month, and the final electoral rolls are scheduled to be published on January 21, 2027. During the exercise, new voters will be enrolled and necessary corrections made to the lists, so that every eligible citizen can vote in upcoming elections.
